There can be so many reasons that your baby has a tummy ache. These can range from a simple change of food to reactions to medicines. Finding baby tummy ache relief remedies that are all-natural is not always easy.

Firstly, of course, if you feel that there is something wrong, you must speak to a medical professional. A Doctor, Health Visitor or Obstetrician. The Advice here and in the books is to help you as a parent, they are not to replace medical advice.

The tips that are discussed here are for help on those issues where the underlying cause is either known or is a temporary condition that your baby is going through. I know from being a parent, and from 15 years of teaching in classes, that tummy ache can be terribly painful for your baby.

Baby Massage For The Tummy

Massage is well researched for being able to bring relief to many causes of tummy pain, both in babies and adults. By working around the tummy area in slow steady movements you can often help the internal organs to shift any food that may still be working through the system.

Massage can also help with soothing. Working not only the colon but calming the parasympathetic nervous system, which will help to calm your baby too.

It really is a winning duo! You can massage the area but also help your baby feel calmer, which often aids the body and can bring you some much-needed respite from crying.

There are so many benefits of baby massage, you can read my top benefits. Bringing relief to tummy pain is just one.

Baby Yoga For The Tummy

Movements that work with the body to help relieve gas or constipation that are suitable for nearly all babies. The key with any movement that you are doing ‘to’ your baby, is to ensure that you always work with them, you never force a movement.

You can grab the FREE E-BOOK which has some simple ways of getting started with both the baby yoga and the baby massage.

One of the techniques that work really well is to use the legs to bring into the body. A fun way of doing this is via signing ‘the grand old Duke of York’. You can see how in the video below! Babies love songs, and adding in actions really is amazing for brain development too!
